Today is laddu’s shopping day,
No wonder she’s so bright and gay,
The yellow only adding to the fanfare,

I wonder what she will buy,
Will it be biscuits, chips or chocolate pie,
This is not just fun but where they can math apply,
They will need to add, subtract and multiply,

But knowing the laddu that she is,
The math part she will give a miss,
Her whole focus will be on the purchase,
Scanning through the racks to see what they encase
